Love Island’s Ella Barnes Turns Heads in Dubai with Daring Lace Dress
A former Love Island contestant, Ella Barnes, has made headlines for her bold fashion choice while enjoying a night out in Dubai. The 25-year-old reality star, who gained fame in the tenth series of the ITV2 dating show in 2023, showcased her stunning figure in a see-through lace dress that left little to the imagination.
In a recent social media update, Ella opened up about her long-distance relationship with her boyfriend, Neil Farrugia, who resides in Malta. The couple, who went Instagram official late last year, have faced challenges due to the 1,300-mile distance separating them. Ella revealed that they typically only manage to see each other every two weeks.
Despite the distance, the couple recently enjoyed a month-long getaway together, creating unforgettable memories. Ella shared a sweet snapshot from their time together, captioning it on her Instagram story:
“As most of you know, he lives in Malta, so we only see each other every two weeks! Spending a whole month together was so special, and we had the best time and created so many memories! Now it’s even harder going from spending every day together to being back to long distance again. Two weeks countdown is on!”
Previously, Ella briefly dated Mitch Taylor after their time in the villa, but the relationship ended shortly after. She has also been linked to Towie star Roman Hackett.
In addition to her love life, Ella recently revealed some behind-the-scenes experiences from her time in the Love Island villa. She recounted how the lack of privacy in the shared bathrooms led to several contestants facing health issues, including constipation. Ella explained:
“There were actually a lot of people when they first went in; they couldn’t actually go to the toilet because you’re obviously sharing with boys. A lot of the girls were constipated. The nurse would actually have to give them tablets to go because your body’s stressed as it is in a new environment. There could be boys waiting outside; you just want to have a bit of you-time.”
She continued, saying:
“You can’t go; your body’s stressed, but once you get used to it and you’ve been in that environment, you just have to get on with it. It was definitely a shock for me when I went in. The girls in my series actually had a separate toilet upstairs, and there was a main toilet downstairs, so we ended up saying that was the girl’s toilet and the boys had one downstairs.”
