I Tried Lush’s New Golden Easter Range – My Skin Was Left Smooth and Shimmering
With Easter just around the corner, beauty enthusiasts are eager to see what festive products will hit the shelves. One high street beauty chain that consistently excels in themed offerings is Lush. This year, their new Easter collection is truly a treat for the senses.
The collection features delightful products such as the Fab Egg Bubbleroon, which boasts zesty, creamy, and fruity notes, and the Golden Egg Shower Gel that feels like showering in buttery toffee and caramel. Additionally, the Easter Bunny Bath Bomb is a charming concoction hiding a surprise treat within.
Lush is renowned for its handmade cosmetics, particularly its luxurious bath bombs and shower gels. Their latest Easter collection continues this tradition of indulgence, and I was fortunate enough to experience some of the standout items firsthand. My collection included the Fab Egg Bubbleroon, Easter Bunny Bath Bomb, Golden Egg Shower Gel, and Coffee Morning Shower Jelly. After testing each product over a few days, I discovered that while one left my skin incredibly soft, another was refreshingly invigorating. Plus, one item contained a delightful hidden surprise! Each product in this golden range left my skin shimmering and radiant, as if it were truly made of gold.
Fab Egg Bubbleroon – £10
Eggs have long symbolized Easter, representing new beginnings and rebirth, and what could be better than a golden, shimmering egg that smells absolutely divine? Lush’s Fab Egg Bubbleroon is a magnificent creation, weighing in at 260g and adorned with a stunning golden luster. Its scent is a delightful blend of zesty, creamy, and fruity aromas that transforms your bath into a luxurious, bubble-filled haven. The combination of sharp citrus notes from orange and lime oils, complemented by the warm sweetness of clove bud oil, creates an uplifting experience.
Sandwiched between the two halves of the bubbleroon is a rich, creamy blend of shea and cocoa butters that deeply moisturizes and hydrates dry skin. To use, simply break off a piece and crumble it under running water, or hold it beneath the faucet as it melts into your bath, creating a bubbling oasis. After soaking, I was thrilled to find my skin silky smooth and incredibly soft. The invigorating citrus scents even lifted my spirits! Given its size, I managed to use it four times, and with a little effort, I could have stretched it to five uses. It’s a long-lasting treat, which is a definite plus!

Easter Bunny Bath Bomb – £10
When we think of Easter, the image of a bunny often comes to mind, symbolizing the arrival of spring. What better way to celebrate than with an Easter Bunny Bath Bomb that delights the senses with its aromatic blend of lemon, bergamot, grapefruit, and vanilla? This vibrant bath bomb transforms your bathwater into a symphony of seasonal fragrances, complete with grassy-green bath art. The golden flecks embedded in the bath bomb leave your skin sparkling after a relaxing soak.
This bath bomb contains sodium alginate, which softens the water and leaves your skin feeling luxuriously smooth. In fact, it’s the largest bath bomb I’ve ever encountered, and it holds a fun surprise! Once the bunny fizzles away, you’ll discover a playful jelly carrot hidden inside, adding a whimsical touch to your bathing experience. Not only did my skin feel incredibly soft and supple after using this product, but the little carrot also made bathtime a delightful adventure!

Golden Egg Shower Gel – £8.50
This shower gel is nothing short of extraordinary. It combines golden shimmer with an irresistible sweet scent that makes you feel like you’re indulging in liquid gold. Lush has taken the essence of the traditional golden egg and bottled it up, creating a shower gel that smells heavenly, with notes of vanilla, bergamot, orange, and sea salt. It truly feels like showering in a rich, buttery toffee and caramel concoction.
I primarily used this gel on my arms, legs, and chest, and I was amazed at how plump and refreshed my skin felt afterward. The golden sheen it left behind looked stunning, particularly if you’re preparing for a night out. If you’re in search of a luxurious shower experience without breaking the bank, this gem is definitely worth considering!

Staff Favourite
A Lush insider has revealed that the Cherry Pop shower gel is a favorite among staff at the Glasgow store. Those working at the Buchanan Street location adore this product, which evokes sweet memories of carnival nights filled with Ferris wheels, jukebox serenades, and romantic drive-in dates. One of the standout features of this shower gel is its unique color-changing property, which transforms from green to cherry-red as you use it. Embrace the surprise! Additionally, it’s packed with vitamins A, B, C, and E, promoting a brightening and toning effect on the skin, while zippy lime oil leaves you feeling uplifted and light as air.
Coffee Morning Shower Jelly – £7.50
If you’re a fan of Lush’s beloved Sticky Dates fragrance, then this shower jelly is sure to become a favorite. This limited-edition product captures the sweet and tempting scent adored by countless Lush enthusiasts. As the name suggests, this jelly acts like a cup of coffee, helping to clear groggy eyes and provide a refreshing boost.
Although I’m not particularly fond of coffee or caffeine, I often struggle to wake up in the morning feeling energized. However, this shower jelly, infused with carob resinoid and benzoin resin, woke me up and left me feeling revitalized for the day ahead. After using it, my skin felt hydrated and refreshed, thanks to the humectant date syrup and moisturizing carrageenan. While this was perhaps my least favorite product in the Easter collection, it’s still a worthy addition to your shelf!
